The eTaxi Austria project aims to make it easier for taxi drivers to switch to e-mobility through automated charging at the taxi stand. In case of concerns, questions or technical problems, drivers can contact the central ÖAMTC support hotline. ÖAMTC has many years of experience and broad expertise in supporting charging points. In addition to its role as a mobility competence center, ÖAMTC also has its own charging network. In addition, ÖAMTC is also part of a charging partner network that includes Wien Energie and Energie Graz, for example. In total, ÖAMTC manages more than 10,000 charging points.
As the number one contact for taxi drivers, ÖAMTC is also the direct interface to charging point operators and workshops in the event of an emergency.
“The use of Matrix Charging leads to a particularly convenient simplification of the charging process. We experience this ourselves using the technology at our company base Erdberg. With our experience and expertise in the field of charging point management and e-mobility, we are pleased to be able to support the taxi drivers in the eTaxi Austria project,” says ÖAMTC Director DI Oliver Schmerold.
